Terms of Service

Last updated May 7, 2026

These Terms govern access to and use of ebill.digital, a hosted fiscal checkout layer that connects Stripe payments with Italian fiscal invoicing workflows.

Please read these Terms carefully. By accessing or using ebill.digital, you agree to these Terms. If you use ebill.digital for a company, you confirm that you are authorized to bind that company.

1. The Service

ebill.digital helps merchants use Stripe for payments while handling Italian fiscal document workflows through configured providers such as Aruba, Fatture in Cloud, and OpenAPI Fatture. Merchants connect Stripe through Stripe Connect, configure fiscal provider access, and use ebill.digital checkout sessions or payment events to create invoice work.

ebill.digital is not a marketplace, not a bank, not a payment processor, not a tax adviser, and not an accountant. Money flows through the merchant's Stripe account. Fiscal documents live in the merchant's fiscal provider account.

2. Accounts and Access

  • You must provide accurate account, business, and fiscal configuration information.
  • You are responsible for keeping account access secure and for all activity under your account.
  • You must connect only Stripe and fiscal provider accounts that you are authorized to use.
  • Developer tokens and API credentials must be protected and rotated if compromised.

3. Merchant Responsibilities

You remain responsible for your products, prices, customer relationships, refunds, tax treatment, invoice content, provider setup, legal deadlines, and compliance with applicable fiscal rules. ebill.digital automates workflow execution, but it does not replace professional legal, tax, or accounting advice.

4. Buyer Data and Customer Data

You must have a lawful basis to send buyer, payment, order, and fiscal data to ebill.digital. You are responsible for providing appropriate notices to buyers and for ensuring that data entered into ebill.digital is accurate enough for fiscal documents.

5. Third-Party Services

ebill.digital depends on third-party services, including Stripe, fiscal providers, hosting, email, and analytics providers. Your use of those services may be subject to separate terms. We are not responsible for outages, API changes, rejected invoices, account restrictions, or policy decisions made by third parties.

6. Acceptable Use

  • Do not use ebill.digital for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or misleading activity.
  • Do not interfere with ebill.digital's security, availability, rate limits, or infrastructure.
  • Do not upload data you are not allowed to process.
  • Do not use ebill.digital to evade Stripe rules, fiscal provider rules, or applicable law.

7. Availability and Changes

We work to keep ebill.digital reliable, but the service may be unavailable during maintenance, incidents, third-party outages, or changes required for security or compliance. We may update features, APIs, provider support, or these Terms as the product evolves.

8. Fees

Paid access, if offered, is governed by the pricing or order terms presented to you. Fees are generally exclusive of taxes unless stated otherwise. You are responsible for taxes, provider fees, Stripe fees, and any costs charged by your connected services.

9. Intellectual Property

ebill.digital, its software, design, documentation, workflows, and brand assets are owned by us or our licensors. You retain ownership of your business data and customer data, while granting us the rights needed to process it to provide the service.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ebill.digital is provided without warranties of uninterrupted or error-free operation. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for losses caused by incorrect data, third-party services, fiscal provider rejection, or merchant configuration errors.
